1.I think the germans hung some jewish prisoners in public because the wanted the Jewish people that were alive to see what they had coming towards them and to put fear into their hearts. The Germans wanted the Jewish to be scared of them and also to let them know that what is happening is real and they could not do anything about it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       2.Elie’s relationship with his father  changes when he sees him getting beat in front of him.I think that changes the father son relationship major because he looked up to his father as somebody important and he can stand anything but when he saw that he didn’t fight back he was shocked.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      3. Elie’s father gives him a spoon and a knife because he knew he was going to get chosen to be killed so he gave elie them things so he can protect himself from danger.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                4. Elie describes himself as someone who believed because he did.He believed that god will help them out of this castrophe event. At Auschwitz the experiences elie had changed his faith because he stared to believe that there is no god to the jewish.

From the look in the depths of the mirror
On April tenth
Right on until the evening
The look in his eyes
As they stared into Has never left me
Not of revenge
Nothing but bread
But of revenge, not a sign
And I had but one desire
Seeing him again alive
I yelled against the wind
Everyone lives and dies
He has closed his eyes
For himself alone
A trickle of saliva
He kept his eyes shut
The look in his eyes
He was afraid
From the depths of the mirror
…….The look in his eyes
